@atomicpoet To an internet dinosaur like myself, its wild to think Twitter was people&#39;s first real connection online. Mine were message boards and forums. Platforms die and we find new ones. It&#39;s the cyber circle of life.

@taylorlorenz One of the biggest losses will be for local news, public service comms and government entities. They just don&#39;t have the bandwidth or budget to adapt &amp; distribute info. They fairly recently learned to leverage Twitter to distribute information. There is going to be a momentary loss of coverage until the dust settles. Interested to see the ramifications on misinfo and disinfo campaigns with the loss of publicly accessible information if Twitter dies.
