  DDR3 is also pretty power hungry. Source: me, who built a homelab out of old DDR3 rackmount servers and can now no longer afford to run them.

  Yes, I’m sure that will be allowed to happen. Right after “you can’t use everyone’s doorbell camera as a giant worldwide face-tracking panopticon” and “PC components should be affordable enough for anyone to buy instead of having to rent cloud desktops from an AI datacenter” We are way way WAY more fucked than you think already.

  Password managers can hold Passkeys now and they’re portable. Bitwarden stores all of mine, use them on any machine.
