omg i think i just found the issue, postgresql was taking nearly 99% of the semaphore allocated to the system and the kernel for some weird reason freaking out about it and dropping packets.... anyways, for anyone in the future with this issue just add these two lines to your sysctl.conf ``` kern.seminfo.semmns=4096 kern.seminfo.semmni=4096 ``` thank you to everyone who was trying to help ^__^
