A thought that's been bouncing around my head like a dvd screensaver icon: Is it possible (for realistic definitions - if you rules-lawyer your answer, you lose by default) to become fluent and adept enough in a Bad Thing (genai, MBA-having, etc) that you can actually influence its trajectory, without succumbing to the inherently corruptive nature of that thing? For example: Could the average hacker become proficient enough at LLM use that people would actually pay attention and adjust things if they said "hey so this is Genuinely Fucking Horrible, Actually(tm)", while still having the gumption to do so? And, if so, would they be able to change the course significantly or fast enough to offset the damage they were personally responsible for on the way to that position?
