@Peejmaybe@mastodon.art I used to have to write on blackboards with chalk professionally, and the sensation of dust sucking all the moisture out of my hands was awful. I can't really remember using charcoal (I only ever did it at school) but I imagine it's the same. I ended up buying plastic holders to prevent it! I still preferred chalk to whiteboard markers...
