Hello, fedizens. Since I recently switched servers, I wanted to craft a quick intro post. I'm Dustin, a genX dad, OSS aficionado, and former interaction designer, who is trying to figure out how to help counter the rampant fasciscm and enshittification in the present tech and political landscape. I believe coops are part of the solution -- the world needs more examples of democratic, worker-lead orgs. (Also, yay unions!) ❤️: Bicycles, trains, electronic music, cozy fiction & video games Current hobbies: Cycling, knitting, getting back into photography, learning to sew and mend Current obsession: Exploring operating systems and apps that refuse to be tainted by LLMs All posts and images are my own unless otherwise credited to another human. I do not use LLMs/genAI. #introduction
