Yes, there have been questions raised about the strength of the evidence of human-to-human transmission incl this review that says “despite claims of authors from Argentina and Chile of the existence of human-to-human transmission of ANDV, the balance of the evidence does not support this claim”. https://academic.oup.com/jid/article/226/8/1362/6369311
