  if I had to rank EW albums it would be something like: I only listen to: Dopethrone Witchcult today Electric Wizard Come my Fanatics (for Return Trip) Time to Die Legalize Drugs and Murder (single, this title makes me lol) everything else was pretty much forgettable Dopethrone because it's the first album I listened to and initially had no idea why my friend said "You'll like this", now many many years later it's like okay I guess you knew me better than I knew myself. It's pretty bad, an evil memory I have is sperging over getting the vinyl and reading the Funeralopolis lyrics to my sister from the insert and she starts crying :Topkek: Witchcult is fun because the riff motif is through the whole damn thing, autist tickler, Chosen Few or Torquemada 71 are the ones I reach for if I'm in the mood for a quick dip The same name album, "ELECTRIC WIZARD" has Stone Magnet which is a fave, along with the song Electric Wizard itself, I like the part where it chills ~6min in, I'm listening ts rn, it's just wrapping up Come my Fanatics starts with one of my absolute favorite EW songs, Return Trip, if I could only take one with me to heck😹, I'd be tempted to take this one. His vocalizations here approach true suffering more than anything else I've heard imo Time to Die idk I don't like the title of the track "Destroy Those Who Love God" because I love God 🥹 haha, literally my only hope. And legalize drugs and murder is just funny edgy ancap title doom metal meme shi writing all that out reminded me of the one time I went to Massage Envy and had some anorexic dude massage me and I mentioned Electric Wizard as the music I listen to and he knew it, "but the lyrics are pretty fucked up" and then confided that he wanted to kill himself lmao and I was like "yah I get it haha"
