I'm muche deeper in the backend and ML part but this reasonates a lot.
The ML ecosystem is more recent and hasn't suffered as much as front end but it's getting there: new shiny LLM libraries everyday that tries to provide the new best abstraction over large providers only to be obsolete in 6 months with the new models...

@gdupont@framapiaf.org @polotek@social.polotek.net Playing around with the new shiny technology, doing some tests, decide to implement it, doing the actual implementation, perform technical testing and finally customer acceptance test. Now your shiny thing is replaced by the next shiny technology. Rinse and repeat.
