The problem: Each jump is 2x in value for the service (and therefore revenue from customers), but 10x in CAPEX needed to provide that value!
And to expand 10x the customers in the most dense area, you also have 10x the CAPEX in the total system, since you can't just add a satellite where needed.

This means, really, Starlink is the best at the business it could ever be now: Starlink really has negative economies of scale at this point. The biggest value (in terms of customer $ per $ of capex) was when it was <1000 satellites, enough to be in the 100 kbps everywhere.
