@Megawatt@infosec.exchange 2/4 on 20m it is a full wavelength so there are 2 current maxima. This causes pattern lobing (which is very evident in a horizontal EFHW). For a vertical we've got the ground reflection too, and it ends up being just a single lobe at a higher angle of 30 degrees (still not too bad)

    @Megawatt@infosec.exchange 3/4 on 15m we've now got 3 current maxima, the main lobe is at 40 degrees elevation and we're starting to see another lower angle lobe but also a deep null (which will kill transmission/reception at that takeoff angle)
