Rankings matter, but they are not the only useful signal. A live placement can deliver value through discovery, referral traffic, brand exposure, and assisted conversions even when a ranking change is difficult to isolate.
Create a monthly report with four groups of metrics:
Delivery metrics: Number ordered, number published, average time to publication, replacement rate, and percentage passing review. (24/40)

Quality metrics: Topic relevance, publisher category, editorial context, indexability observations, and anchor distribution. Traffic metrics: Referral sessions, engaged visits, new users, assisted conversions, and behavior on the destination page. SEO indicators: Changes in impressions, clicks, non-branded query coverage, and the performance of the linked page over time. (25/40)
