Below, you can see one of the quarries. There are two of them we saw, trenches where they cut stone and you can still see the tool marks from cutting.

The first photo is of the kiln. A berm built up with stones and a central hole. All filled in now and trees growing out of it. From the point where the kiln is, the trail goes up. The park overlooks a river that the trail last week departs from.
