It wouldn't follow it enough though, and there's not enough water between where it was and entrance to swim out, as outside there is drought. Probably best off where it is. Creatures of the surface will often follow light if they get stuck underground if they are accidentally there. Sometimes we can get them back above ground, most the times we cannot, but it is part of the circle of life that feeds the fragile food web of the cave ecosystem. The influx of nutrients will be well received by those who call the cave home, that this creature invaded.
