Spelt? Are you smithing? “Spelt” is the more common spelling of “spelled” in Britain, where I am from, and where the language was invented. Your same source is going to tell me… Many such cases. … that irregardless is a damn word I don’t like it either and I blame the Americans. But part of learning language is learning that people using language differently aren’t necessarily wrong.
