Huh...
So I just realized another issue with sitting down on the computer all the time.
Sure, my shoulders hunch forward using my mouse and keyboard, but my legs are always at some kind of 90 degree angle. That means my quads are in a very short position, aka NOT stretched.
So I distract myself a lot with Youtube, and I haven't done one of my depression rests in quite a long time. My depression rest is when I just lay flat on the ground and blankly stare at the wall or whatever for like 5-30 minutes.
Laying down flat, my quads are being stretched a little, and my shoulders were stretched a lot in certain positions (If I had my arms go down my sides vs above my head).
I got achilles tendonapothy, and doing a lot of walking would be gentle on my wrists, but terrible on my ankles.
As stated in a previous post, I am trying to start exercising now with whatever weights I can find at the home, but for stretching, I wonder if I should get back into my depression rests in lieu of just mindlessly watching Youtube videos.
Of course the rests help to empty my brain of stimulus, so I can focus on going back to work, but it stretches out my body without excessive load on my achilles.
Interesting how things you use to do as a younger person that you thought of a waste of time were actually the very few things holding your body health together...
Yeah I need to get a standing desk probably.
