@iris@neuromatch.social @typeswitch@gamedev.lgbt @hacks4pancakes@infosec.exchange the purported innocuousness of the term “reverse culture shock” is for me ruined by its use in the same context as “reverse racism” i.e. not like the proper racism we have at home. To those people, I say If you didn’t want to come back changed, you shouldn’t have travelled.
