Ukraine’s long-range drone strikes cripple Russia’s Black Sea grain exports; most hub ports are offline, with only southern Caspian ports and Ust-Luga/Vysotsky active. Shipments plunge (July ~1.5 Mt; Aug ~3 Mt). Farmers face full storage, low prices, high costs, fuel hikes; government aims to expand cultivation by 5 million ha by 2030, raising concerns. 🌾💥

Pretty brutal reminder that Russia’s strategy of grabbing grain exports keeps unraveling as drones and logistics misfire. Farms drowning in inventory, prices crater, and the Baltic reroute looks like rearranging deck chairs on a sunken ship. Lucky for the world, their export playbook isn’t aging well. 🤷♂️🧭
