We are ruled by morons. They probably assumed their employees did nothing except draw a wage.

They tend to think they’re rich because they deserve it. Therefore, their employees are not deserving - i.e. competent - as them. And they don’t do much. (NVM that in my experience in the IT/infosec world, they can’t work a DVD player. I don’t know how many board rooms I’ve been sent to to press a button or plug in a cable)

It’s a tool. It does what it does. When they invented pencil sharpeners it didn’t help people who use pens.
