I will say, I do enjoy the worldbuilding and storytelling in Link's new design. His outfit, with the rough, woven material, really does look like something some forest fae spirits might have put together. His tunic visually ties him down to his roots. Most Link's don't really have that. Twilight Princess Link is a farmer. But the moment he put on that outfit, there is no visual clue to his previous life or his roots anymore. He is just "another Link" then. Same with Wind Waker or Skyward Sword. This Link is a boy who grew up with forest spirit children. And you can see it. #Zelda
