The main reason is it’s the only ripper I can find that will copy chapter markers AND utilize Hardware Acceleration. I have a registered version of MakeMKV but it tends to be quite slow even though I love it for most things. Leawo can convert a BluRay file about x3 faster just like DvdFab. :(

Makemkv is slow because it remuxes with no compression. I’d try linking it with handbrake under preferences - integration. Then open handbrake and select your drive as the source. That or vidcoder should do what you want.
