@ShadSterling@mastodon.social @zer0billionaires@mastodon.social How are billionaires going to get the tax breaks they pay $0 on already if we keep electing people who try to help the rest of us? I'm sorry, but I just don't see how your suggestion helps the billionaires. (Yeah, I'm being jaded and sarcastic. I 100% agree with you, just apparently most people don't because Facebook/Fox/etc told them not to.)

@ShadSterling@mastodon.social @zer0billionaires@mastodon.social Good luck with that. If we actually lived in a democracy, people like Mamdani would be the rule, it wouldn't even be news. Instead they are the exception and what is the default expectation is that politicians are greedy liars. To me this is one of the strongest indictments of our political (and economic) system.
