First I'd like to remark that #HarryPotter seems bizarrely apt to this kind of nonsense precisely because there's so little substance to the writing. "Harry Potter" is a stock character practically, shepherded from book to book through that lowest form of #magic that can be found in fiction: plot magic, i.e. arbitrary happenings where it's clear the author wants a pre-decided outcome more than they want to figure out how to make that outcome plausible.

Consider the opposite extreme: could one write something like Kaname Madoka and the Methods of Rationality? Anyone can write anything, hypothetically, but #MadokaMagica is such a dense work, supported by a tremendous amount of skillful world-building by its principal author Urobuchi Gen and his collaborators, that one would have work hard to cram "methods of rationality" in there among the mahou shōjo.
