One votes with Trump 95% of the time and caucuses with Republicans, helping them control the senate schedule and committee assignments.
The other votes with with Trump about 40% of the time, caucuses with Democrats, which puts them closer to controlling the senate schedule.

I don't know if these people who are constantly being like, "Uh, actually, Fetterman might be worse than Collins. And what if Platner's another Fetterman?" actually mean what they say, or what. But yeah, "another Fetterman" would be infinitely preferable to Collins, obviously.
