@JdeBP@mastodonapp.uk @bpl yeah but it works at boot menu. I will try with external USB keyboard and see if it works. Or can get dmesg out of it

@jaypatelani@bsd.network An external USB keyboard should work. Everything that I can find indicates that on Thinkpad E14s the keyboard is actually a PS/2 keyboard (sic!). So look at the part of dmesg that scrolled off your screen that deals with PS/2 device enumeration. There's also some bizarre extra PS/2 stuff related to that Elan USB device, but that's to do with your fingerprint reader/trackpad. @bpl #NetBSD #PS2 #USB #ElanTech #HumanInputDevices

Looks like it should work: https://bsd-hardware.info/?probe=30220e13a3 and https://dmesgd.nycbug.org/dmesgd?do=index&fts=E14. It might be worth running OpenBSD/Fuguita for test if the keyboard issue is only on NetBSD or for any OS. CC: @JdeBP@mastodonapp.uk
