Use bots primarily to test functionality before launch. Check that they respond correctly to folds, calls, raises, all-ins, turn changes, disconnections, and table closures. Test unusual sequences as well as normal hands. A platform that handles routine play but fails when a player reconnects can quickly generate complaints. (23/38)

For public rooms, establish limits on how much automated activity is appropriate. The purpose should be a stable and understandable game environment, not artificial pressure to keep players engaged. Healthy room design is better measured by genuine participation and retention than by making every table appear constantly busy. 6. Establish chat, moderation, and support procedures (24/38)
