haven't done much birding recently - but this weekend made me super happy. A trip to the Karara rangelands found me a little family of Pink Cockatoos (previously major Mitchell cockatoo). They're often really shy in the wild so getting to spend some time with them super close up whilst on the ground foraging was a rare treat.
