The owner of the döner shop next to where I live is really cute about my gender. A month ago he asked me whether I'm a man or a woman and when I didn't answer immediately because I was trying to assess the situation he was like "oh so does that mean you are mixed?" and I was like 'yep' and he was like "alright, thanks for answering" and then began apologizing profusely for even asking. And now he just decides which pronouns to use based on how masc or fem I currently present and is extra nice to me and makes a lot more smalltalk than before. Proof you don't need to have the slightest clue about trans people to be a decent human being.
