what is it abt the representation of asexuality that must put the absolute lack of intercourse to the forefront.... like I get it, some asexuals really dont need nor want to engage in it and they are not broken for it, but literal ""info"" graphics about asexuality being like "it means lack of attraction AND low desire to have a sexual relationship" is absolute utter crap
Asexuality means one thing:
Lack of sexual attraction.
Thats it.
stop trying to tack on that a low libido is part of that, literally fuck off with that...
as someone who has a high drive and really wants to be in a relationship with all thing attached to it, wants to have sex and preferably a lot of it, am I then suddenly excluded??? bc it feels like it
I've lit never been this confused about my sexuality in my life bc everyone keeps saying "asexuality means low libido"...... so me not feeling sexual attraction to my partner even tho I love them more then anything and having a high libido just DOES mean I am broken then??????
the amount of times I have now hated myself for the fact that I lack said attraction because I cannot return it in the same manner is insane
and then when I think I found a label and maybe people who could feel similar I still feel alianated bc apperently im doing asexuality wrong...... I am lit so tired of this year I have had it, I am so exhausted
I know I am probably demi then I GUESS and my partner knows, and doesnt mind, we still make it work even tho I struggle a bit more...
man I have never felt so unseen then on a day that supposed to celebrate what I think my sexuality is.....
I guess I am just a little too fucked up to count anywhere
but at least I know I am loved....
