Petreskan Protein Slugs are the result of a highly bio-engineering capable society desperately craving more diversity in their space travel and early planet terraforming diets, when not much else was available yet. Compatible critters can ingest this fluid to get the large meaty slugs to start incubating inside their digestive tracts, eating whatever leftover materials are available without harming the host's ability to take up enough resources themselves. They will make you more hungry though🐉
