Meanwhile on the home front: Am I the only Mastadonian who skeeves out a bit when someone I've never before interacted with on Mastodon suddenly sends a friend request out of the blue, and simultaneously starts favoriting bunches of my posts including ones a year old? It's not like there was anything weird on their profile - but my spider-sense started tingling anyway so I blocked them. I guess word to the wise, I've had a couple too many people in my life who have started out being suddenly/overly/obsessively friendly before devolving to intrusively/pushily friendly plus other toxic behaviors, so I've got some post-traumatic wariness about that.
