for some reason, quote posting shows as "post pending" since ... recently? Not sure if it shows that way for everybody else. Closest bug I found was this one, and my reproduction doesn't match exactly. https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/issues/40160

looks like *maaaybe* a version interaction bug (either noc.social or infosec.exchange running >= 4.5 and the other running < 4.5 could cause it; per https://mastodon.social/@Mastodon/115224447782810898 ) @jerry@infosec.exchange what version are we running now on infosec.exchange? anybody else reporting quote post "post pending" bugs?
