I'm thinking more this morning about the random poster who popped into my mentions yesterday to suggest that women on the Internet saying "kill all men" was some sort of widespread problem that needed to be explicitly denounced. the worst thing that men typically have to face on the Internet is a random woman being mean to them. meanwhile, men started a whole ass, widely publicized, fascist-misogynist social movement because Zoe Quinn's chauvinist douchebag ex-boyfriend did a public callout falsely alleging that she slept with someone in exchange for a positive review of her video game. every woman on the Internet needs to live with the daily reality that all it would take for us to become the next Zoe Quinn is to piss off the wrong man. men will never know what that's like. so, no, I don't care about women being mean to men on the Internet. if anything, most people don't care enough about the consequences of men being misogynist to women on the Internet.
