"As much as I love sleeping with a warm and fuzzy catgirl," said Freydis, "you can't share my room forever. You need your own place. That way, when you find a catgirl girlfriend, you have somewhere to take her."
Tara sighed heavily. "I'd settle for any girlfriend," she said, "but this town is just goblins and retired adventurers. My chances of a girlfriend are slim and none."
"You never know! We had zero catgirls before you dropped out of the sky. Instant catgirl could happen again!"

Tara and Freydis found a small apartment right in the middle of town. It was upstairs from Anne's Bakery and Cake Shop, run by two dwarves. The place had not been used in several years. Layers of dust caked everything. Tara snapped her fingers. A magical whirlwind blew through the apartment and sucked up all the dust, leaving everything spotless. "I've decided," said Tara, "that Domestic Household Magic is actually pretty cool...." #microfiction #flashfiction
