Exactly! I will even admit, I blindsided him by breaking up and it took a while for us to become friendly again. But he’s one of my best friends and I wouldn’t change any of that for the world.

Yup, exactly. Was awkward at first, but that fades in to a comfortable friendship. Ofc, might be different if there was betrayal, or infidelity involved - but since neither of us married an asshole, that wasn’t the issue.
