There were three father-daughter duos when we were in the local metal store today. (Goth offspring and I were one of them.) They were all there for the music, no-one just waiting for the other to finish so they could go. It was great seeing them show t-shirts and LPs to each other, and point out cool posters and decor in the shop. A point of connection, handing on some great music, discovering new things together. #metal
