I sometimes remember how I used to be 10 years ago. It's crazy how much I'm no longer that person. What that teen wanted back then, this man couldn't even begin to care about now. And all of that's good, it's how we grow as people, but It's such a disconnecting moment for me. There's a pain attached to growth that people don't usually talk about. A stark contrast that comes with the loss of adolescence. I wish I could meet my younger self, I wish he could see who he would become.
