Ancient Holloway path at Lydford on Wednesday these paths around the village date back to at least Saxon times leading to the ancient spring, and Saxon town earthworks, #Dartmoor, #Devon #photography

@Rachelburch@mastodon.social You can tell it's Old because it's sunken relelative to the surrounding land. I used to have a street like that in my neighborhood. then they bulldozed most of the lovely berms. So Sad.

@Rachelburch@mastodon.social I know a place in the Argentine side of the Andes about 15 km away from Chilean border, next to a lake, you need to row 11 km to reach and it. looks exactly like this photo.
