A new, cool CVE-2026-99999. It was discovered last night (GMT), but I'm only writing about it now. I was too lazy. I think the hype surrounding it is solely due to the cool number.

So far, we’re only talking about a theoretical “escape to root” and a host memory leak from a virtual machine. Again, theoretical. And the author didn’t say where he did this. There’s no PoC, and no one has reported any exploits yet #pwnescape #cve202699999
