‘Uninformed decisions’ led to ICE wasting millions on detention facility expansion: Government watchdog
Since January 2025, ICE invested billions of dollars in new initiatives without conducting necessary analysis and planning, the GAO said.

Republicans control the White House and Congress. This report shows Republicans are incompetent at governance and oversight. Republican Senators and Republican House Reps literally waste taxpayer dollars, with a lot of those public funds going into their corporate buddies’ wallets. Pure corruption. Vote them out!
