Are single characters a combination of letters, if we compare it to western writing?
To try to explain what I mean, say you wanna write
hello
Would one character be hel and the other lo?

@raccoon@fedi.raccoonden.moe Right, just like how "hello" in Chinese is "你好," you need to type "你" and "好." However, Chinese does not use spaces to separate words in a sentence.
