😳 HOLY CRAP. UNPRECEDENTED.
While I've had a few cases where candidates asked me to remove them for legal/personal reasons (they accept public financing or had to drop out), I've NEVER had a candidate straight up say "nah, I don't need any more money, I'm good!" before...especially for STATE HOUSE.

Also: No, this isn’t a case of it being a lost cause. It’s a tough but not impossible district, and the Dem nominee is running a full, robust campaign judging by their website, endorsements, local media coverage etc. They have a legit shot at flipping the seat. Amazing.
