There is a problem if you measure the value of A in unit B when neither A or B are stable, you could be misinterpreting a movement. It’s the same mechanism behind the argument that the S&P500 barely increased over the last decade, rather the value of the US Dollar has declined. It’s mad to choose a unstable value as Bitcoin to measure house prices with, but a basket of currencies might show a very different picture than we usually see.
