@ketan@climatejustice.social And as we all know this kind of thing was always the domain of grifters anyway, because if never made much real-world sense. Direct air capture being so inefficient that it’s always a better carbon saving to just put the clean energy into the grid to displace fossil fuel use instead of using it to capture a tiny amount of CO2 from the air! We’d have to get to the point where we were curtailing a *huge* surplus of clean energy before it makes sense.
