heck, i owe to #sewing all my professional experience as an educator, curriculum developer and technical writer.
i have always had a love-hate relationship with Simplicity pattern instructions. i often told my employers, if i can make it easy to LOOK at, as a Simplicity sewing pattern, but write it and illustrate it better, then i’ve done my job.
which is why i can look at an app or even a codebase and go, yup, none of the dev(s) are a designer or have any arts skills… 🧵…
