I just think it is really sad how little the media cares about the Sudanese civil war given the scale of the atrocities. Meanwhile the debate often seems about how hard to come down on the RSF completely forgetting that the SAF is also illegitimate and cruel. Clearly neither should be considered good stewards of Sudan. Also, the fact that the UAE called for an arms embargo over all of Sudan is laughable. Its a good idea but they have been the one smuggling weapons soooo good luck with that. I doubt the current administration feels like confronting the UAE right now in given the new Iran conflict and the fact that humanitarianism is clearly not a priority. #geopolitics #sudan
