@sackofbones@kolektiva.social @vpinon@pouet.chapril.org at work i use mostly powershell and if its not just a msi file to install its a pain in the ass tondeploy a app with powershell or intune. So we often write the needed script with ai to improve the deployment speed because we need to compile those special .intine files. (It's not my fault we use Windows 🫣 we are from Germany and our customers need a Software called Datev)

@tim@social.firestrike.de I forgive you my child. /j But then that's just microsoft making shitty software, which it makes sense you'd want to take a shortcut to avoid it. I suppose then that someone just needs to make a higher level that is easier to write, perhaps something like the Lox language from Crafting Interpreters? I have an implementation lying around that I could abuse into compiling to powershell, not familiar with intune so you'd have to explain it to me(if there isn't already a library for it) @vpinon@pouet.chapril.org
