This RIDDOR consultation to revise disease reporting appears to make no mention of COVID‑19, airborne transmission, or Long COVID? That silence matters. Workers still face exposure risks, but is the system meant to record them keeping pace with reality? 🔗 https://consultations.hse.gov.uk/hse/proposals-riddor-2013/

The proposals to revise RIDDOR’s list of occupational diseases omit any reference to COVID‑19, airborne infectious diseases, or Long COVID. This is a significant gap. SARS‑CoV‑2 remains an occupational hazard in healthcare, social care, education, and public‑facing roles.
