@vrek@mastodon.social @conniptions@mastodon.social @lzg@mastodon.social It's an abuse of language, is my main point. It's become almost like a thought-terminating cliche. They just roll out the word "guardrails" and nobody even knows what it's supposed to mean. "Um, sounds like common sense... shucks, these guys are SMART! They think of everything!" But they're not smart. They're mendacious. They know that this meaningless phrase is enough to con most people.
