Normally, they'd stay involved. They wouldn't just walk away after their long and protracted effort to overthrow Assad finally bore fruit. But if the US stays in Syria, everyone will demand that they address the section that's been newly occupied by israel.

@MCMLXVIIOTG The U.S. will eventually lose control of the Middle East completely. The military, as I have said before, isn't what it used to be. When the Roman Legions began to suffer defeats during Rome's fall, their reputation never recovered.
